no need to check Craigslist Kansas City

believe it or not but a ton of good tickets remain for next weekend's super hot Royals-Marlins series; man interleague play gets more exciting every year!! I'm really glad baseball trashed 100 years of glorious tradition for an inane novelty.

AFLAC trivia question: Who got the first hit ever in a interleague game?

Ans: Why Stan Javier of course. (Nothing sums up the contemptible mediocrity of the entire enterprise more than this fact).

you are calling Stan Javier Mediocrity? You sure know about baseball. You problaby are the guy who only sees the stat but not the game. You dont see how succesful of a bunter a player is; cuts the doubles into singles; have one of the best percentage in stolen bases in ML; moves the runner up, excellent fielding percentage and tremendous knowledge of the game.
No wonder Javier played 18 years in the mayors, I wonder why? hum!!!
Look at the winning percentage of all the team he played in!!! Go back to football, you may hurt yourself with baseball. To add one of the most clean and decent guy in the game. (he did all that during the steroid era)he retired batting .292 his last year, not lingering like others. Look at the game, not the stats.
