At least he's honest

On mlbtraderumors.com (the site where one of its rumors almost knocked Billy Beane off of his Gazelle) I recently left a comment about the possibility that Barry Bonds might actually sign on somewhere next year:

"Bonds=ugh," I penned. "Why any team would have an interest in him anymore is a mystery to me."

Nothing too clever, just thought I'd hurl my indignation out there for all to read.

I read one great response, and while I can't endorse its message, I can respect the underlying principle:

"I'd sign zombie Hitler if he'd put up a .480 OBP."

The commenter, wisely, left no username or other traceable personal data.
